Canada Day 2022 – Oakville
July 1 @ 6:00 pm - 10:00 pm

Celebrate Canada Day at Bronte Heritage Waterfront Park, Oakville on July 1st, 2022!
Enjoy evening events and free family fun at Bronte Heritage Waterfront Park. Family activities and food trucks open at 6 p.m. with fireworks at 10 p.m. (weather permitting).
Bring a blanket or lawn chair and get to the park early for the best view of the fireworks.
Schedule of events
6 p.m. – Land acknowledgement followed by a performance by Sing Along Tim and the Pacifiers.
6 to 9 p.m. – Booths, sports zone, arts and craft zone from town and community groups, plus an Indigenous reflective area.
7:15 p.m. – Balletomane Hip Hop and Ballet performs and provides instruction so that the crowd can join in
8 p.m. – Pipe and Drum Welcome, Land Acknowledgement by Elijah M. Williams (Director, Indigenous Engagement Sheridan College), and performance of the national anthem by Taylor Arbeau and Ray Tiberia.
8:30 p.m. – The Lonely Hearts perform.
10 p.m. – Fireworks start (weather permitting).
