Police Day
May 13 @ 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm
This year’s Police Day will take place on Saturday, May 13, 2023 (rain or shine) from 12:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at 2485 North Service Road West, Oakville.
The afternoon-long celebration of local policing offers visitors an opportunity to learn first-hand about law enforcement through a series of interactive displays and presentations.
Opening ceremonies will begin at 12:30 p.m. sharp.
This year’s theme is “Halton Regional Police Service: Helping Build Safer Communities”.
Highlights and activities of the day will include:
- Tactical Rescue and K-9 demonstrations
- Police motorcycle demonstrations
- HRPS Pipes & Drums
- Interactive displays
- Inflatable amusements & games
- Live bands
- BBQ (provided by Troy’s Diner for a fee)
Indoors, guests will have a chance to tour a number of booths with information about emergency services, diversity, volunteering, and recruiting opportunities.
Free parking is available at the north and south sides of Headquarters, off North Service Road.
