The Salmon Run

Join us to learn about the fascinating biology and history behind the annual salmon run. From Lake Ontario all the way up the Credit River that runs through Riverwood; watch as these salmon migrate through shallow rivers to lay the next generation. Unfortunately, it is a one-way ticket and a smelly one at that.
Our local section of the Credit River does not have natural waterfalls or man-made dams, so you’re unlikely to see salmon jump out of the water.
Important Information
Dress for the weather. This is a rain or shine event, unless there is severe weather in the forecast. Please wear closed-toe shoes.
No dogs permitted.
