WETLAND WALK – Esker Lake
August 20 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

Date: Sunday, August 20, 10:00am – 12:00pm
Take a tour of Donnelly Park East and around the Esker wetlands led by a Turtle trooper. We will learn about the importance of turtles and how to identify them. We will monitor the nesting beach and basking logs. We will protect our turtles by maintaining their nest protector boxes.
What to Bring:
This is an outdoor event. Dress Appropriately for the weather, wear comfortable shoes, apply sunscreen and bring water to stay hydrated. Cameras and binoculars are recommended but not mandatory.
Where to meet:
We will meet at Donnelly East Park by the baseball diamond. Located south of Sandalwood Parkway and west of Heart Lake Road. Extra parking available on Forestgrove Circle. The path to the site is between #25 and #27 Forestgrove Circle) *Look for us in our neon vests!
