WETLAND WALK – Loafers LAKE
July 27 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm
Date: Thursday, July 27, 6:30pm to 8:00pm
Take a tour of Loafers Lake led by a Turtle trooper. We will learn about the importance of turtles and how to identify them. We will monitor the nesting beach and basking logs. We will protect our turtles by maintaining their nest protector boxes.
What to Bring:
This is an outdoor event. Dress Appropriately for the weather, wear comfortable shoes, apply sunscreen and bring water to stay hydrated. Cameras and binoculars are recommended but not mandatory.
Where to meet:
We will meet behind the building in the gazebo at Rotary Centennial Gardens. ( Follow the trail Pathway behind the rec center and keep to the right.) *Look for us in our neon vests!
