With December almost here, I’m sure everyone is a busy as I am with Holiday parties and social events, with the kids and without. It’s important to have a few quick and easy snack ideas to bring to these events, or even to have in the car for long journey’s to help get you there. Being on the go, go, go theses days I’m finding it very difficult to resist snacking so having a bag of this trail mix on hand is important. And hey, why not make it festive with Sweet and Salty Christmas Trail Mix!
This recipe is very easy to make with only a few key ingredients, that you can modify to your liking! As a base I used mixed nuts with raisins (which always adds a nice sweet taste it’s salty counter parts). I then added some of my favourite Christmas candies – red and green candy covered chocolate, Christmas candy corn, Christmas ju-jubes and pretzels…because my pregnant self can’t seem to decide between sweet and salty! Take a look at the easy ingredient list and instructions on how to make this delicious Christmas Trail Mix, and remember that you can substitute any of the ingredients with some of your favourites.
Sweet and Salty Christmas Trail Mix Recipe
Ingredients
– Mixed Nuts
– Christmas candy covered chocolate
– Christmas coloured candy corn
– Christmas ju-jubes (small size)
– Pretzels
– Anything else you desire!
Instructions:
Don’t blink because you may miss a step…haha just kidding, there is only one easy-peasy step…
1. Add all ingredients together and mix well!!
