Best Restaurants at Beaches Turks and Caicos Resort Villages: A Dining Guide

One thing I can promise you about your vacation at Beaches Turks and Caicos Resort Villages – you are NOT going to go hungry!  Actually you are going to eat like Kings and Queens (and Prince and Princesses) the whole time you are at the resort.  I already shared the 10 things my 6 year old loved about Beaches Turks and Caicos Resort, but now it is time to talk about something we all raved about on our trip – the food!  With 21 restaurant options there is something for every taste, and you will enjoy eating your way around the resort during your stay.  During our stay we tried as many different restaurants as we could, but still didn’t get to them all.  For the ones we were lucky enough to try, they surpassed my expectations not only for the variety and quality of food, but also for the hospitality of the staff that worked to make sure you had a great experience.

When you arrive at Beaches Tucks and Caicos Resort Villages you will be provided with a brochure that outlines all of the different restaurant options and the days/hours they are open so you can start planning your culinary experiences.  An important thing to note is that only 1 of the restaurants, Kimonos, requires reservations.  This means you have complete flexibility to eat where you want when you want without needing to make reservations on the first day of your stay.  I LOVED this set up as it let us be flexible with our activities if you want to stay at the beach a bit longer that is OK, your are not fixed to a specific dinner time.  Or if the kids are hungry earlier then you expected because they have been swimming and snorkeling all day that is OK too, head to your restaurant of choice whenever you feel like it.Best Restaurants at Beaches Turks and Caicos Resort Villages: A Dining Guide

There is a good mix of buffet and a la carte options with numerous cuisines represented.  If you are looking for an adults only dinner, there are options for that as well.  No matter what village you stay in at the Beaches Turks and Caicos Resort you can go to any of the restaurants across the property.  Getting from one side to the other of the resort only takes 15 minutes walking at a leisurely pace, so distance is never an obstacle when it comes to picking where to eat.  So lets get to the good stuff, here are my picks for the best restaurants at Beaches Turks and Caicos Resort Villages!

Cafe de Paris (French Village) – All mornings should start at the Cafe with an assortment of French pastries and crapes you can grab a little something before going out for a main breakfast.  But it is the beverages that will keep you coming back.  Yes there are gourmet coffee and teas, but it was the frozen drinks that were the perfect way to cool down in the tropical heat.  Frozen Cafe Mocha… yum!  And if you are looking for a few sweet treats to take back to your room, grab a take out box with a variety of eclairs, brownies and cakes to snack on.

The Jerk Shack (Caribbean Village) – Enjoy lunch beach side at The Jerk Shack with your choice of tasty jerk chicken, pork or fish.  Grab a side of sweet potato fries, bammy bread and corn on the cob and you have the perfect ocean side Caribbean lunch.  Don’t worry they have mild Jerk options if you don’t like things spicy.  And the view, well…

Dino’s Pizzeria (Italian Village) – Need an afternoon snack, or want something you can take back to your room (or to the beach) to eat?  Grab a hand-tossed pizza cooked in a woodstone oven from Dino’s.  The pizza’s were cooked perfectly with fresh ingredients.  They also offer a variety of sandwiches if you are looking for some more variety.

A Taste of India (Italian Village) – I couldn’t not try some butter chicken from A Taste of India as it smelled so good walking by.  I wish we had the chance to have a sit down meal at this restaurant, however our schedule didn’t permit that.  However I did grab some take out, and was able to heat it up in our room as late night snack and it was everything I was hoping for.Best Restaurants at Beaches Turks and Caicos Resort Villages - Taste of India

Neptunes (Key West Village) – Neptunes was the first restaurant we tried when we arrived at Beaches Turks & Caicos Resort.  It set the bar high, and the rest of our vacation did not disappoint.  This Oceanside Mediterranean seafood Grill offers an atmosphere unlike anywhere else on the resort and the food was fantastic.  It was so good in fact we made a point of also enjoying a breakfast at Neptunes, which was the best we had during our stay.  On top of the fantastic food, the staff when above and beyond to make Monkey feel special, and he called them his “buddies” for the whole trip, and still talks about them now that we are home.

Mario’s (Italian Village) – As you might guess from the name Mario’s offers an Italian inspired menu (buffet lunch and a la carte dinner) in an Tuscan-inspired open kitchen.  Be sure to check out the Medieval-themed children’s section where you can dine among your favorite Sesame Street Pals.  There are also child sized tables for youngsters to have their very own table away from Mom & Dad.

Barefoot by the Sea (Italian Village) – Experience a meal to remember while wiggling your toes in the white powder soft sand.  Enjoy your seafood favourites at this a la carte restaurant including snapper, tuna and shrimp.  There are also a limited number of children size tables, so be sure to ask if those are available if you are traveling with kids old enough to enjoy a table of their own not too far away from the adults.

Arizonas (Caribbean Village) – At Arizonas you can choose indoor or outdoor seating while you enjoy a menu of Tex-Mex favorites.  Offering a buffet lunch and a la carte dinner you will find a great variety of dishes with a southwestern flair.  Traveling with my mom and son, it was great to be able to go to restaurants that had delicious options that appealed to us all.  My favourite dish was the “create your own” soft tacos.

Honourable mentions go to Kimonos, the Japanese Teppanyaki restaurant that we heard rave reviews for and Sky Restaurant and adult only restaurant with an amazing view.  For full restaurant and dining details visit the Beaches Turks & Caicos Resort Villages website for all the details and sample menus.

Sesame Street Character Breakfast

If you want some extra special time with your Sesame street friends, then I would recommend the Sesame Street Character Breakfast (additional cost).  Not only do the characters come to visit you at your table to say hello and take pictures, but you also get to have a dance party after you are done eating.  Each child gets a re-usable cup and a small Sesame street toy.  The food served was a typical kids friendly buffet, but lets face it in this case the food is not the focus.  I am not sure who had more fun at this breakfast Monkey or my Mom!  My Mom watched a lot of sesame street with me when I was growing up and was super excited to get photos with Cookie Monster, Bert, Ernie and more.

  1. I have never been to an alll-inclusive resort and one of the main reasons is I was worried about the food. We are a family of picky eaters but this looks like they have great variety for everyone.

  2. Definitely sounds like there would be something for everyone to eat which is great since it can be hard when travelling with picky eaters.
