Mother’s Day: Birds and Blooms

Bring your mom! Bring your family! Bring your friends! Spend some time with those you love this Mother’s Day, exploring Riverwood’s gardens in spring. What’s in bloom? Which birds are singing? Learn about how to attract these beautiful birds to your garden or balcony.
We will end the program by creating a decorative pot of three native plants to take home and attract birds, butterflies, and bees to your backyard! All supplies provided.
Binoculars are available to borrow for the duration of this program. A bird checklist and map will be provided to newcomers to the program.
Dress for the weather. This is a rain or shine event, unless severe weather is in the forecast. We recommend wearing all-weather shoes, or bringing a walking stick. Your clothing may get a little dirty during the planting session.
No dogs permitted, service dogs welcome.
