Brampton Spring Fair Craft & Vendor Show – April 6, 2019 – Our 4th annual Spring Craft and Vendor Show is happening at the Brampton Fairground on Saturday April 6, 2019.   This event is not to be missed. Lots of wonderful local one of a kind artisans selling their amazing handmade products and local small business vendors.  Have lunch in our Craft Show Cafe. Cineplex Family Favourites Movies Space Jam – April 6, 2019 – $2.99 family favourite movies continue every Saturday at 11:00 a.m. It’s a fun and affordable way to enjoy time with your family and friends!     5. Discovering Treasures in the Archives PAMA – April 6, 2019 – Discover the treasures we hold in the PAMA archives! Families will get a first hand look at historic photos, diaries, war letters, and maps. This session will be followed by a hands-on creative activity using reproduced images from the collection.

Easter Egg Hunt Brampton Parks and Recreation – Saturday April 6 1-4PM Earnscliffe Recreation Centre – Hop on over to meet the Easter bunny and participate in some fun Easter events in Brampton. With a donation to Cops for Cancer, *recommended $2 CAD donation. One plant, per person, per donation, while quantities last. 100% of donations collected go towards Cops for Cancer, Peel Regional Police.

Fun Things to Do In Brampton April 22-28

  1. Decorating with Natural Dyes PAMA – April 22, 2019 – In this playful drop in activity, participants will learn natural dyeing basics and how to create dyes made from plants, food and other natural materials. You will also use flowers, food, and leaves to create patterns with simple techniques for the whole family. Included with admission and members are free.
  2. Frog Watch – Thursday April 25, 2019 7:30-9p, – Heart Lake Conservation Area 10808 Heart Lake Road Brampton. Hosted by the Toronto and Region Conservation Authority
  3. Etobicoke Butter Tart Festival – April 27, 2019 – I know this is not in Brampton, but it is a butter tart festival and that in itself means we are going to let you know about it!  Lots of vendors selling butter tarts and other sweet treats.  Vendor market as well.   4. Spring Fling at Heatherlea – April 27, 2019 – Bring the kids out to the farm for our Spring Fling from 10 am – 1 pm. Kids will get hands-on with fun activities, including potting a strawberry seedling to take home. Our guest, Carolyn J Morris, writer of Rail Fence Books, will be reading her farm-based books with children.   1. Exciting events are happening in Brampton this month! … I kinda forgot about Easter Egg hunts, thanks for that reminder, lol. I’m usually on top of finding a great one for the kids to go out and have fun.

    Also, yay for the Very Hungry Caterpillar’s 50th birthday this weekend! I hadn’t realized the story was that old, wow.

    How cool that Aquaman is showing for $2.99?? I’ll have to bring the nephews to that viewing for sure!

  2. WOW that is one exhaustive list! I love all of the easter egg hunts, especially the one for dogs. How cute is that? A butter tart festival is my kind of scene too. I had no idea there was so much to do in Brampton. Now that the weather is nicer it is time to get outdoors and have fun together.

  3. If I had read this article when I was in Brampton, I would’ve had an even better time. I was there with my friends in April, and we had a great time, but we didn’t do most of the things that you’ve mentioned to do here.
