What is the difference between Royalton St Lucia and Hideaway?
The Royalton St. Lucia and Hideaway at Royalton Saint Lucia are all one resort located in the North West side of St. Lucia. However the Hideaway is a section of the resort that is adults only. As a guest of the Hideaway Royalton you have access to all areas of the Royalton resort including sections that are Hideaway only.
For Hideaway guests only there is a pool, beach area and restaurant (Dorado Seafood and Grill) that is open for breakfast lunch and dinner. Hideaway is a great option if you are looking for an adults only vacation while also enjoying all of the amenities of the larger resort.
What is Diamond Club Royalton Saint Lucia?
The Diamond Club at Royalton Saint Lucia offers a premium level of service compared to other areas of the resort. Swim out rooms are located on the ground floor of buildings 1-8 at the resort. They are a similar layout to the Ocean view rooms with the exception that instead of a balcony you have a patio with 2 chairs, 2 loungers in the pool, and your swim out pool.
Swim out rooms are available with 2 Queens or 1 King depending on your preference for your group. Pools are semi-private, meaning you cannot see your neighbours from your patio or lounge chairs, but the swimming area is connected for all the swim out rooms for each building.

Ultimate Guide to Choosing Your Room at Royalton Saint Lucia
Ok, now that you know the differences between the various areas of the resort including the Diamond Club, Hideaway and standard resort rooms. And we have shown you room tours of the Ocean View rooms and Swim Out rooms it is time to explore each of the 8 buildings on the Royalton Saint Lucia grounds.
Royalton Saint Lucia Building 1 – Diamond Club, Hideaway (Adults Only)
Royalton Saint Lucia Building 1 – The rooms in this adults only building are stunning as they look over the inlet that the resort is situated on. I don’t thinking there is a room with a bad view in the whole building. This building is located next to the Hideaway lobby and steps from the beach, Dorado restaurant. The ground floor offers swim out rooms. If you want to stay in the building you need to be a Hideaway by Royalton Saint Lucia guest AND diamond club.
Royalton Saint Lucia Building 2 – Hideaway (Adults Only)
Royalton Saint Lucia Building 2 is an adults only building with 12 swim out rooms on the ground floor. This building has a total of __ floors and is located next to the Hideaway lobby. It is just a few steps to the beach or the Hideaway exclusive pool and bar.
Royalton Saint Lucia Building 3 – Hideaway (Adults Only)
Royalton Saint Lucia Building 3 is the 3rd adults only building, and I would say offers the best views if you are not in the Hideaway Diamond Club building 1. The angle of this building gives a great view of the beach and water especially from the higher floors. There are also swim out rooms on the ground floor. This is the “farthest” Hideaway building from the beach, but that means that you are only about a 2 minute walk away from the beach.
Royalton Saint Lucia Building 4
Royalton Saint Lucia Building 4 offers swim out rooms on the ground floor and all other floors have rooms with balconies to enjoy the beautiful St. Lucia weather. This is one of 3 standard resort buildings, meaning if you are not staying in Diamond Club or Hideaway this is one of the building options for you.
Royalton Saint Lucia Building 5
Royalton Saint Lucia Building 5 offers swim out rooms on the ground floor and floors 1 through _ have balconies with 2 chairs so you can take in the beautiful sunsets. From building 5 you will have views of the entire resort including pools, and waterline. Building 5 is next to the main resort building where you will find many of the restaurants, buffet, coffee shop and concierge office.
Royalton Saint Lucia Building 6
Royalton Saint Lucia Building 6 is the final of the 3 standard resort buildings at the resort. Building 6 may be a great option if you are travelling with younger kids as it is located right beside the playground and children’s water park area. It is also located beside the main resort building making it very close to the buffet, restaurants, coffee shop and more.
Royalton Saint Lucia Building 7 – Diamond Club
Royalton Saint Lucia Building 7 is one of 2 Diamond Club buildings (all ages welcome) at the resort. The beach and pool is just a few short steps away from the building.
Royalton Saint Lucia Building 8 – Diamond Club
Royalton Saint Lucia Building 8 is one of 2 Diamond Club buildings (all ages welcome) at the resort and is located right beside the beach with the majority of rooms facing directly right out onto the water.
