Minion Birthday Party Ideas
Minion Birthday Party Invitations – All parties start with an invitation. I loved this handmade birthday party invitation made out of construction paper that we got for the Minion Party. No time for homemade invitations? Then check out these free printable minion birthday party invitations that you can download and print from home.
Minion Birthday Party Decorations – With the popularity of Minions you can find plates and cups with the Minions characters on them. Or if your rather any dark blue and yellow table wear would set the tone for a Minions Party. Pick up some yellow balloons and print out Minion eyes and mouth to attach to the balloons to decorate around the room. You can also have Minion toys around as decorations, just don’t expect them to stay in one place!
Minion Birthday Party Games – My friend L is famous for making her own DIY pinatas, and the Minion Party was no exception. Using paper mache and paint you can create this awesome Minion pinata. Fill it with small toys or candy and lets the kids take a swing at it (just make sure everyone else is standing well back)!
Minions Birthday Party Food Ideas – Anything with banana will fit right into a minion party. These adorable Minion cookies are too cute and and are easy to make. I used the Betty Crocker Soft Baked Chocolate Banana Snacks, vanilla icing, coloured sprinkles/sugar, and edible eyes. To make the cookies ice one side of your cookie with vanilla icing. Put the blue sprinkles on one plate and yellow on another. Dip your cookie to cover 1/2 to 3/4 with blue sprinkles and then cover the rest with yellow.
You can purchase Candy Eyeballs online or pick them up from your local bulk food store. For the large eyes I used 1 white chocolate wafer and a chocolate chip. Use black and blue icing to add additional details to you cookes and Enjoy!
Minion Treat Bags – Create a simple Minion loot bags by adding Minion faces to yellow (or other colours) bags. You can add a simple tag that says “Thanks a Minion for coming to the party” as a personalized touch. Items could include in the treat bags could include Minion Snacks or anything to do with bananas (Minions favourite food). These cute stationary sets were perfect for the party and were available at our local dollar store.
