For me, baby bouncers were a must have for the boys. Having somewhere to set them down, from time to time, that was safe, cozy, and could keep them happy that they could be rocked in was a great way to make my life easier and my arms free for other tasks.
I find most bouncers weren’t all that travel friendly, but leaving the bouncer behind when going visiting always seemed like a bad idea too. The Baby Bjorn’s new Bouncer Mini! has solved the “should we bring it?” dilemma”
This sleek bouncer goes together and comes apart very quickly. This makes it great for storing flat when not in use, and is also perfect for transporting. Wouldn’t it be great to grab the bouncer to take with you when you are going visiting? Or to keep it at Grandma’s house, so she can easily store it when she doesn’t have the baby with her?
The seat has two settings depending on your child’s weight, and they made it easy to know the difference:
– place the – sign on the legs upward, and it works for the 7.7-13 lb range. This places the chair in a more flat position.
– place the + sign facing upwards and this will work for a child in the weight range of 7.7-20 lbs, and places the chair in a more upright position.
Here is Baby Roo at 8 months old and 20lbs in the chair, testing it out for us!
You will notice in the pictures that there is no buttons for the music, and no batteries required! YAY for simplicity! Does anyone listen to the music? I never found it to help the baby at all, and the batteries always die so fast! I think sometimes baby stuff can be overly complicated, and appreciate the simple things that don’t try to over do it.
