Babies at Bramalea City Centre
So the weather is starting to cool and you will be looking for indoor activities to occupy your time with baby during the day, then give shopping with babies a try! Or maybe baby was born in the winter like my daughter, and you weren’t quite ready to brave mom groups yet. One of the first activities I did was go to the mall and just walk around as it got me out of the house and was free. Shopping with babies is a whole new experience that takes some practice and getting used too. Now my daughter was born in February, so when Easter rolled around we went and visited the Easter Bunny at the mall which was a fun experience. While the malls are quieter during the day, you will find Bramalea City Centre full of strollers and babies on any given day. So whether you are going to explore the mall on your own or join up with a group of moms, I have the following 5 tips for you. Records show that the perimetre of Bramalea City centre is 1.2km so if you do a couple laps that is a fair amount of distance you could cover and get your exercise in all at the same time as shopping! There are also tons of awesome food options to try out and explore as you stroll!
Five tips for Shopping with Babies at Bramalea City Centre
1. Baby Changing Stations
For your little one’s comfort and your convenience, we have change tables in ALL washrooms.
2. Parenting Washroom and Nurse in Comfort
Parenting washrooms and nursing rooms are equipped with a nursing chair and change area (for mother and children only) and are located:
- In the main/lower level in the corridor by La Senza
- In the corridor on the main/lower level by West 49
- In the South Food Court
- On the upper level by Tuxedo Royale
- On the upper level in the corridor by Le Château
3. Parking
I like to Park on the second floor of the parking garage as it is covered parking and leads directly into the second floor near the smaller food court. There are many Parking with Children spots located right by the walkway to enter the mall, so not only are you not having to deal with the weather of snow or rain, but it is also a short 1 minute walk into the mall.
4. Stores to Check Out
Now there are tons of stores to checkout at Bramelea City Centre but the three I visit each time are:
Carters/Osh Kosh – I love looking for sales on clothes for Thumper and they always have the cutest stuff, especially seasonal outfits.
Children’s Place – I find this store to be very well priced as they always have something on sale and this store is jam packed with clothes for baby and even more for older kids.
5. Loyalty Program
Now if you are going to spend time in BCC, you might as well be rewarded with some promotions and deals so sign up for FashioniCity. FashioniCITY is Bramalea City Centre’s exclusive shopper rewards club for people who love, love, love to shop!
