With fall coming to an end I feel a need to say goodbye to pumpkin spice, that is until Christmas is done then I will dip into pumpkin flavours again throughout winter 😉  But right now December is coming fast and I feel like it’s time to bring out my favourite combination…peanut butter and chocolate!  Not just any chocolate either, I’m talking about rich Baker’s semi-sweet chocolate…chunked.  You really can’t go wrong with this combination, it’s tasty made anyway and for any occasion (and that’s not this pregnancy talking…I swear).  These Homemade Peanut Butter Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies are sure to help settle this craving of mine.  It’s perfect timing too as they are perfect to take to any up coming Holiday parties.  The Homemade Peanut Butter Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies are sure to be eaten up at any children’s (peanut safe) event or even a work get together.  As a bonus, they are easy to make because let’s face it, we don’t all have time for complicated recipes that take time.  Without further ado, lets take a look at this amazing recipe!Â
These cookies are made with the creamiest, nuttiest, excellent tasting – Kraft Crunchy Peanut Butter, it’s the only one I buy. Â Mix with the Baker’s chocolate and I’m all set! Â The rest of the ingredients are just as easy to find in your local grocery store if not already in your pantry, so if you have small children your making them with or for, you won’t have to spend a lot of time walking around the store isles looking for rare ingredients. Homemade Peanut Butter Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe
Delicious Peanut Buttery - Chocolate Oatmeal Cookies, perfectly paired with cold milk or enjoyed alone!
Servings 42
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups Kraft Crunchy Peanut Butter
- 1/2 cup butter softened
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2/3 cup packed brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 cup quick-cooking oats
- 3/4 cup flour
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1 pkg 225g Baker's Semi-Sweet Chocolate, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350ºF. In a large bowl with a mixer, beat the peanut butter and the butter until creamy. Add the sugars, beat again until light and fluffy. Blend in eggs and vanilla.
- Mix the oats, flour and baking soda together. Add to the peanut butter mixture; beat until blended. Stir in chocolate.
- Drop teaspoonfuls of dough, about 1 inch apart, onto a baking sheet.
- Bake 10-12 min. Cool on the baking sheets for about 3 min, then place on wire racks to cool completely.
