Quick Chocolate Peanut Butter Banana Smoothie Recipe With Yogurt

Making smoothies used to be a pain.  I would have to drag out my big blender, make the smoothie, and then take it all apart and wash it.  While not a huge deal, it made enough dirty dishes to dissuade me from making them very often.  Hubs used to joke about why we actually had a blender if I didn’t use it more then a couple of times a year.  So when I suggested that we get a [easyazon_link identifier=”B018NICC9M” locale=”CA” tag=”litmiskat-20″]Magic Bullet Mini Blender[/easyazon_link] he was not exactly on board, it was just another thing to sit in the cupboard, or so he thought.  I bought one anyway and have proved him wrong, I use it ALL THE TIME!  Our newest love is Chocolate Peanut Butter Banana Smoothies!  If you prefer a smoothie that is more tropical inspired the pop over to check out the Mango Pineapple Smoothie Recipe we have on the blog.  If chocolate and peanut butter are your favourites then read on!chocolate peanut butter banana smoothie recipe via LittleMissKate.ca

If you want to add a extra protein boost to your smoothie you can use Greek Yogurt instead of regular yogurt.  Or if you like adding protein powder to your smoothies, I have found that [easyazon_link keywords=”vanilla whey protein powder” locale=”CA” tag=”litmiskat-20″]vanilla protein powder[/easyazon_link] works really well with any smoothie I have tried so far.

I loved the photo of Baby Roo reaching over, however my guess is she was going for the peanut butter – good job she didn’t manage to reach the smoothie eh?

  3. Chocolate, peanut butter, and banana combined is my favorite flavor ever. Now I’m going to have to make this for breakfast because it just sounds so good.

  4. 100% a perfect flavor combo! I like to make this but use a little cocoa poweder instead of chocolate syrup – a little less sugar that way 🙂
