Soccer is one of the most affordable sports to get kids involved in, and with Men’s Team Canada Soccer on its way to qualify for the first World Cup of my lifetime, and the Women’s Team Canada Soccer continuing to be amazing… now is a great time to get involved with the Sport of Soccer in Canada. We also can enjoy games not to far away if we check out Toronto FC that plays in the Major Soccer League (MSL) in Toronto.

I personally love soccer, as does my husband and we grew in up in Brampton and have had great experiences in Brams United and Brampton Youth (now Brampton Soccer Club), as well as Brampton Adult Soccer Club. Brampton Soccer Club

Brampton Soccer Club:

Brampton Soccer Club is a non profit community club run by volunteers, that offers soccer at 3 different levels: recreational, developmental and competitive. Children as young as 3 can join in the fun. Recreational league programs are 12 weeks long and start towards the end of May. They also offer summer camps for children.

The Brampton Youth Soccer Club and Brampton East Soccer Club joined together to share resources and leadership to be the best soccer club for both boys and girls. In the outdoor program, each participant recieves a uniform consisting of a jersey, shorts, and socks, a soccer ball, and team pictures.

Youth House League is a community-based recreational league for players turning 5 – 14 years  of age (born 2006 to 2015)  and open to all players of any skill level and ability. 

The Tot Shots Soccer Program solely sponsored by Tim Hortons is dedicated to the development of grassroots soccer and our littlest sprouts.  The program will introduce basic skills, teamwork and sportsmanship through structured and controlled programming, preparing them to continue into youth house league.

The CHAMPIONS LEAGUE  is a recreational house league for Girls and Boys born 2002 to 2005 and older who are attending or about to attend high school. This is a great and active way to get together with some friends, have fun and stay active.  The coed  game is a beautiful game to watch and play! 

Footy For All

Footy for All makes soccer accessible, fun and safe for players of any age or skill level. All kids are playing on the highest quality FIFA-grade artificial turf fields at Heartlake Secondary School. The coaching team has created the ideal soccer environment with the perfect balance of skills and games in order to teach your child soccer skills, tactics and team spirit while still having fun. Our boys soccer and girls soccer programming is designed to promote fun and learning in equal measure.

Brampton Football Club

Brampton Football Club Offers soccer programs for individuals aged 7-23 years old. This summer nurture your child’s passion with Brampton Football Club 12 week long leagues running on Saturday and Sunday. All Under 12 leagues are non-competitive and standings are not kept. U4-U7 will get 12 games, while U8-13 will play a total of 14 games.

Sportball

Sportball soccer programs begin when children are 3 years old and continue until they are ready to enter leagues. Instructors lead a high-energy fun class that uses engaging friendly coaching techniques and drills to teach beginner soccer skills. Kids are challenged to develop and improve skills such as passing, throw-ins, dribbling and goalie skills, without being discouraged by the demands of competition. Coaches teach the simple rules of fair play and the ethics of sport so that kids can have fun and feel safe while they learn to play soccer.

Soccer for ages 5-7 years old, and a seperate group for 8-10 years old.

Sportball Soccer and T-ball blended programs, offer children the opportunity to register into one program and play two sports. The first part of the session focuses on soccer skills where passing, throw-ins, dribbling and goalie skills and non-competitive game play. The last two weeks of the season we switch to baseball skills such as throwing, catching, batting and running bases. Sportball runs the combined program for ages 3-5 years old.

Research has shown that kids who play multiple sports through childhood will stay active longer and are more likely to find success later in competitive sports.

Northern Lions FC

Northern Lions is a youth soccer club in Brampton that provides full player development. They focus on building players to reach their highest potential by providing a variety of leagues for kids aged 5-14 years old. They offer Development Soccer Program, Elite Youth Program, and Private training.

Running from June to August at multiple locations including: Springdale, Carabram Park, Sandalwood Park, Sandalwood and Creditview Park. Weekly One-hour session led by a qualified Northern Lions Coach include 30 Minute Skills Practice + 30 Minute Game. PLayers are provided with 1 Official Northern Lions Training Top and Parents Must Supply: Shin Guards, Soccer Cleats, Water.

Little Kickers

Little Kickers Brampton Parent and Tot: Children are introduced to the basics of soccer (dribbling, striking, goal scoring etc.) in a play-oriented yet structured format, using child-friendly but realistic soccer equipment. Each child is given the opportunity to work within their ability level but taught in a group environment.

Classes also provide a fantastic opportunity for you to assist in your child’s early education, helping them develop physically as well as improving cognitive and social skills.(Parent participation required). Classes involve a number of games that require parents to put on their running shoes and get actively involved in the session.

However, some games are specifically targeted at developing independence. These transition games mean children as young as two will be able to play independently of their parent or guardian.  
Age: 1 ½ years to 7 years old.

Indoor Soccer in Brampton

Brampton Soccer Club

Brampton Soccer Club runs indoor leagues at both the recreational and competitive level. All games will be played at the Brampton Soccer Centre, located at 1495 Sandalwood Pkwy East at Dixie Road.

BSC’s Club Policy is such that each micro, mini, and house league player must play a minimum of 50% of each game; this is considered equal playing time by the club. Coaches may choose to hold practices in local gyms in the U6-U18 leagues, attendance is not mandatory.

Brampton North Soccer Club

Runs an indoor Spring Training League. This is a 6 week program that will begin SATURDAY APRIL 2 to MAY 7, 2022. Each session will be on Saturdays at the Brampton Fairgrounds Indoor Facility from 10am until 11:30am or from 12pm until 1:30pm.

Little Kickers

Little Kickers Brampton Parent and Tot: Children are introduced to the basics of soccer (dribbling, striking, goal scoring etc.) in a play-oriented yet structured format, using child-friendly but realistic soccer equipment. Each child is given the opportunity to work within their ability level but taught in a group environment.

This program is run in gyms for children aged 18 months to 7 years old, however parent participation is required. The program is run at various school gyms in Brampton.

Sportball

Sportball offers Multi Sport and Multi Sport Jr., T-Ball and Soccer (summer only). Sportball follows a simmilar approach to the Ontario Curriculum which uses a TGFU (Teaching Games for Understanding Model) as all games, activities and instructions have a purpose and expected outcome. Sportball’s goal is to build confidence, competence and physical literacy.

Multi Sport and Multi Sport Jr are the perfect way to expose your child to the world of sports, sportsmanship and team play. These classes keep kids moving and burning energy the while class and send them home with a new set of skills each week. Each week of the 8 week program explores a different sport including: soccer, baseball, basketball, football, hockey, volleyball, golf and tennis which provides children with an amazing foundation of active living skills. 

City of Brampton Soccer

The City of Brampton offers basic soccer programming throughout the year both indoors and outdoors for children aged 2-12 years old. They offer Soccer Parent and Tot, Soccer Skills and Drills Level 1, Soccer Skills and Drills Level 2.

Brampton Soccer Leagues for Adults

  • Brampton North Soccer Club – Offering a 9 vs 9 league with three diffferent leagues: Mens Premier, Mens A, and a Women’s League.
  • Brampton Adult Soccer Club (BAS) – Offering both indoor and outdoor leagues for men, and women.
  • Brampton Mens Recreational Soccer Club (BMRSC) – offering leagues specifically for just men.
  • Footy Sevens – Offering 7 vs 7 leagues: men, womens and co-ed.
  • Ladies Recreational Soccer Club – Offering a Ladies Only Adult league with two tiers of play.
