I have been talking about the great Get Kids Cooking Challenge by Uncle Ben’s this week. We have tried several of the Uncle Ben’s recipes and they have all turned out great. Here is a recipe that we tried and the whole family loved: Curry Chicken Basmati Rice Pilaf.
This one pan recipe was simple to make, and the kids loved it too. A perfect way to introduce new flavours like curry to the whole family. You could also include veggies like peas or carrots depending on what your family loves.

Sounds like a great recipe! I will have to make it with the kiddies 🙂
I adore the photo of your son working in the kitchen and at such a young age too. None of mine were ever in the slightest bit interested – only that food got onto the table in a timely manner 🙂 Surprisingly enough 2 of my sons are now very good cooks – no idea where they got that from though 🙂
Ha, at least they grew into it!
