Georgetown Summer Camps 2022

While Georgetown can be a little smaller there are still come great Georgetown Summer Camp options, we found a variety of different types of different day camps, from arts, STEM, outdoors, sports, and basically any interest your child may have!

Sending your Child to Summer Camp in Georgetown will allow your child to explore their hobbies or passions through fun new engaging experiences, enjoy social interaction with peers and maybe even make lifelong friends. Tyke Hullabaloo – Must be 4 at start of camp $215 full week, $173 holiday week
Calling all active pre-schoolers! Bring your eager tykes for a week full of fun! This program offers a little bit of song, a dash of imagination, a sprinkle of sports, a dribble of crafts, and a hullabaloo of summer adventure. Participants will take part in water activities on site, so please pack a bathing suit or change of clothes.

Tiny Tykes
Must be 4 at start of camp
$215 full week, $173 holiday week
Introduce your tyke to a variety of sports in a fun and safe learning environment. These future athletes will learn the basics to sports such as soccer, volleyball and many more! Your child will develop fundamental movement skills, practice different drills, and have a blast with a ton of summertime favorites, like crafts and cheers. Participants will take part in water activities on site, so be sure to pack a bathing suit or a change of clothes.

Play Outdoors Camp (half day) Must be 4 at start of camp $130 full week, $108 holiday week
8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Summer days are meant to be spent outside! Children will enjoy classic camp games, use their imagination through creative activities, discover new learnings with science experiments, and most of all explore the marvels of the outdoors. Campers will have fun playing in the creek, please bring water shoes daily. Campers will be split up into groups based on similar ages.
Please note that this camp will take place entirely outdoors; please pack and dress accordingly. Indoor space is available in case of inclement weather.

Adventure Splash ‘N Fun:
$215 full week, $173 holiday week
ASF is jam packed with entertaining activities such as classic camp games and swimming once per week. Campers will use their imagination through creative activities,discover new learnings with science experiments, explore during outdoor play and enjoy activities. This high-energy camp is dedicated to making the most of your child’s summer, so get ready and make a splash!

Sports Adventure
$215 full week, $173 holiday week
It’s all about sports! This amazing sports experience will offer coaching and development in some favorite sports like basketball, volleyball and soccer while giving athletes the chance to develop fundamental movement skills. Campers should be ready for drills and skills, daily challenges and special instruction, water activities and swimming once during the week.

Studio Art
$265 full week, $213 holiday week
Campers will open up their creative self andhave some fun making unique works of art. Educational hands on workshops will allow
for an intuitive approach, exploring watercolors, painting, drawing and other mixed media. Through self-expression, campers will be amazed by the beautiful originals can be created! Campers will swim once during the week and enjoy water activities.

Theatre
$265 full week
Future thespians will experience workshops in the ÿner areas of acting including stage direction, characterization, as well as set
design and costume creation. Campers will go swimming once during the week and enjoy water activities.

Youth Leadership Program
$225 full week, Mon-Fri, 9:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Calling all youth ages 12-16! Through hands-on activities, workshops and observations, youth will learn about different leadership styles, communication techniques and problem-solving strategies. This experience will help to build a resume and explore volunteering while building their own set of skills. Youth will connect with local organizations to learn about opportunities in our community and obtain a certiÿcation in HIGH FIVE® Principles of Healthy Child Development. The jam-packed program provides
meaningful and exciting experiences including cooking, special guests, personal wellness, meeting new people and a variety of activities.

YMCA of Georgetown Trafalgar Road Y Day Camp

Y-Cook: (Ages 6-9) (Ages 9-13) Y-Cook is a hands on cooking program that develops skills and confidence in the kitchen! Campers will learn kitchen safety, culinary hygiene, food preparation & cooking techniques while preparing tasty, healthy recipes. At the end of the week campers will receive a YMCA apron and recipe book so they can continue their cooking journey at home. To complete this culinary program campers will participate in a variety of traditional camp games, water games and go swimming twice per week.

Kinder Variety: (Ages 4-6) This camp is a perfect introduction to a summer camp experience! Each week campers will explore a variety of camp activities, including songs, sports, games and arts & crafts. Campers will be supervised at a 1:8 ratio, must be toilet trained, and four years old on the first day of their session to attend. Kinder campers will participate in water play and visit local splash pads and do not go swimming. (Also offered in Acton)

Variety: (Ages 6-9) (Ages 9-13) Experience all that camp has to offer! Campers will enjoy a variety of fun, interactive and co-operative activities that keep them engaged all day. Campers will participate in sports, games, arts and crafts and go swimming twice per week. Activities vary based on location and interests of the campers. (Also offered in Acton)

Kind Vibes Camp

This year they are going for big air! We have teamed up with Driveway Skate Shop to bring you an outdoor experience like no other. Each week includes workshops with local Glen artists and businesses such as Pauline Gladstone and Glen William Glass and catering from Kits Little Kitchen. Halton Hills Gymnastics

The Halton Hills Gymnastics Centre is the best spot in Halton for all your summer camp needs! We’re so excited to provide 8 weeks of Summer Camp fun this year. We will be offering a Full Day Camp for kids 6-12 years. Full day camp will  include 2+ hours of gymnastics in our fully equipped gyms, crafts, games & super epic theme weeks. Activities take place in our air conditioned gyms and are designed to keep kids busy and having fun in a safe and well supervised environment.   We will also be offering a morning camp 9:00 – 12:00 for our younger gymnasts who are 4 & 5. Campers must be 4+ years of age at the start of Summer Camp.  HHGC will also be offering NInja / Parkour camp for ages 5-7 from 9:00 -12:00   and ages 8-11  from 1:00 -4:00 pm.All camp activities take place at HHGC, and although there are no off-site activities, we plan a very exciting weekly activity in accordance to the theme that week to make it extra exciting for the campers.

YMCA of Georgetown Multi Sports Camp

Campers will develop the fundamental skills needed to play a combination of court and field based sports such as basketball, floor/ball/field hockey, volleyball, tchoukball, pickleball, dodgeball soccer, lacrosse, flag rugby, flag football, ultimate frisbee and baseball while focusing on team work, game play and athletic fitness every day. Ambition Performing Arts Centre

Offering more than just a camp – Ambition Arts is a leading facility in Arts Education while creating an environment that is friendly, nurturing and fun! Each week offers classes in all styles of dance, stage and screen acting, music and singing, along with daily games, crafts, experiments, outdoor fun and so much more!

This camp is for children ages 4-10 as an introduction to the Performing Arts. Ambition Preforming Arts offers 4 different week options with different themes, that are sure to engage kids! There is something for everyone. Camp runs form 9:00am-3:00pm with extended care options available.

Lights, Camera, Action Camp: For Ages 8-16, This camp will teach students the fundamental techniques of acting on screen and help each camper explore their creativity while writing, rehearsing, and recording their own short film. The final product is debuted on the last day of camp and offered as a digital keepsake for all the students! 

2 Week Musical! : While learning the foundations of singing, musical theatre and choreography. Students will spend two weeks at this camp preparing and performing a mini version of the Greatest Showman. Instructors will work with the individual talents of the students to showcase their abilities and parents and friends are invited to view their hardwork on the last day of class! A whole musical in only 2 weeks. Appropriate for ages 8-16. 

Dance Intensive: For the experienced dancers aged 5-18, who want to continue their training through the summer and work with industry professionals from across the GTA. Classes in acrobatics, ballet, conditioning, jazz, hip hop, contemporary, stretch, PBT, tap, mental wellness, and more.

Life Full of Sunshine Nature Camp

Get ready for a super exciting, immersive experience in Nature Camp this summer!

Here, children take ownership of their own learning and can really dive deeply and safely in the natural environment around them.  At Nature Camp, kids will have the opportunity and freedom to pursue their own adventures and seek to answer questions they are curious about under the guidance of our awesome camp leaders.  The program aims to spark an interest in each child, which will become the fuel that will have them researching, exploring and getting dirty.

Nature camp is held on a one-acre, fully-fenced private farm in rural Erin, Ontario.  With the exception of extreme weather conditions, summer camp programs will be held entirely outdoors – rain or shine.  There is a sheltered area for lunch time and snacks and washrooms will be accessible inside the farm home located on the property.  

This camp is designed for children aged 4-10 years old from 9-4PM.

Registration for 2022 summer camps opens Tuesday, April 19 at 7 a.m. Registration for non-residents opens on Thursday, April 21. Camps will be available for online viewing as of Tuesday, March 29.

Rocky Ridge Camp

The Ranch provides a unique camp experience. The option of multi-age weeks provides shared opportunities together for family members of different ages. Our counsellors are highly motivated, child/youth oriented, creative and enthusiastic. Each week campers are offered the opportunity to earn accreditation in Horsemanship and Swimming. Each week culminates with a family day, including a rodeo, which gives the campers the opportunity to celebrate and share their achievements.
Activities during the day include:

  • horseback riding (with opportunities to acquire certification)
  • swimming in our salt-water pool (with opportunities to acquire certification)
