Skate on the Square – Celebration Square, Mississauga

The Celebration Square ice rink will open on December 3, 2021, and closes on March 20, 2022, weather permitting. The Celebration Square ice rink is open daily and free for public use. The rink is patrolled on weeknights, weekends, and holidays.

Public Skate Hours:
Sunday to Thursday: 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Friday and Saturdays: 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.

During heavy snow or warmer temperatures, the rink may need to temporarily close. To confirm the rink is open, call 905-615-3200 ext. R-I-N-K (7465)

Holiday hours

The rink will be open 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. from December 17, 2021, to January 3, 2022. The rink will also be open until 11 p.m. on New Year’s Eve.

Burnhamthorpe Community Centre Outdoor Rink, Mississauga

Temporarily Closed – Located at 1500 Gulleden Drive in Mississauga, the Burnhamthorpe Community Centre Outdoor Rink is a great covered spot to enjoy a skate. This gorgeous outdoor rink in Mississauga boasts 100×100 square feet of ice surface that is completely covered by a roof. Rink boards, benches, and glass surround the ice, giving its visitors a place to relax.

This free outdoor rink in Mississauga is usually open from Monday to Friday from 10 am to 9 pm and on weekends from 10 am to 5 pm. There are generally drop-in skating activities planned, and reservations are required to enjoy these. To reserve your time visit activemississauga.ca. You can book your time slot up to 7 days in advance. Once registered, participants must arrive at the front gate and check-in approximately 15 minutes prior to their booked time.

Change rooms and skate rentals are not available at this location, so make sure to plan in advance.

Public washrooms are available.

Woodhurst Outdoor Rink, Mississauga

Located at 3499 Ash Row Crescent in Mississauga, the Woodhurst Outdoor Rink is a fantastic place to enjoy the beautiful, crisp, winter air. This rink normally opens in the middle of December if the weather permits. The hours are usually Monday to Friday from 10 am to 8 pm and on the weekends from 10 am to 5 pm. Reserve your time slot up to 7 days in advance using the activemississauga.ca website. It is free to enjoy skating at the Woodhurst Outdoor Rink.

Change rooms and skate rentals are not available at this location, so make sure to plan in advance.

Public washrooms are available.

Natural Skating Rinks Mississauga

There are 30+ natural skating rinks in Mississauga. Volunteers donate their time to help the city provide natural rinks, weather permitting, to the public. These rinks are also maintained by volunteers. The city of Mississauga provides a heated rink hut and will install rink boards in a Mississauga park as long as the area is level and is fitted with water and electricity. Iceland Mississauga

705 Matheson Boulevard East, Mississauga 

This state-of-the-art ice Complex is situated on 160 Acres of Parkland located in Northeast Mississauga. This complex offers a variety of pay-as-you-go skating and hockey activities for all ages. Iceland is open Monday to Friday from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. and on weekends from 9 a.m. to 6 pm. Iceland Mississauga has four indoor ice rinks available and offers outdoor parking.

Clarkson Community Center

 2475 Truscott Drive Mississauga Ontario Canada

The Clarkston Community Center hosts a large variety of programs including learn-to-skate ice hockey and public skating. This is a fantastic place to skate in Mississauga. Whether you want to take part in the learn to skate program, play a little hockey or enjoy a public skate, you are sure to find something here that the whole family will enjoy. The Clarkson Community center’s indoor rink hours are Monday to Sunday from 8 am to 10 pm.

Burnhamthorpe Community Center

The Burnhamthorpe Community Center has a wide variety of programs to choose from. Whether you want to learn to skate, play Ice Hockey, or just enjoy public skating, this indoor skating rink has it all. Due to this location temporarily being unavailable, schedules will be posted as released.

Mississauga Valley Community Center

1275 Mississauga Valley Boulevard Mississauga

The Mississauga Valley Community Center has quite a variety of different programs to choose from including ice hockey, learn to skate programs, and public skates as well. This arena is open Monday to Friday from 6:40 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. and on Saturdays and Sundays from 7 a.m. to 9 pm. This Arena’s rink is 180 by 80 ft and boasts lots of space to enjoy whatever skating activity you choose.
