Ontario Treetop Trekking Activities

Zipline & Aerial Game Trek

This captivating 3-hour experience awaits you. Don a secure harness and helmet before delving into the forest canopy. You will conquer a series of thrilling challenges like navigating suspension bridges, Tarzan swings, balance logs, and zip lines. This activity promises to keep your heart racing with excitement.

Blue Heron Zipline Tour

Available exclusively at the Brampton location, the Great Blue Heron course showcases thrilling 1000 ft Ziplines that soar gracefully over Heart Lake.

Once participants are geared up with safety harnesses and helmets, they receive a comprehensive safety briefing. Afterward, they venture to the Blue Heron zipline course, ascending to the top of the forest, utilizing bridges and ladders, ultimately culminating in an adrenaline-pumping 1000 ft zip across the picturesque Heart Lake.

This Zipline Tour can be enjoyed as a standalone adventure or as part of the 3-hour Zipline and Aerial Game Treks package.

To ensure a zipline ride, reservations are mandatory. As with all activities, the Blue Heron experience is weather-dependent, with possible closures due to high winds or thunderstorms.

Ages: 9+

Red-Tailed Hawk Observation Course

This adventure is available exclusively at the Brampton park. During the one-hour tour, participants are provided with climbing harnesses and helmets. Following a brief but essential safety briefing, they traverse secure bridges connecting observation platforms within the forest canopy. Despite reaching heights of up to 60 feet, this experience is less physically challenging than some other activities. It does not include zip lines, allowing participants to relish the natural surroundings.

It’s important to note that a minimum group size of four individuals is required for this activity. In cases where participants belong to smaller groups, efforts will be made to accommodate them by joining them with others. Reservations are necessary to participate.

Ages: 9+

GPS Rally

Embark on a thrilling nature discovery from a whole new perspective! Participants can use a GPS unit to dive into an engaging and interactive treasure hunt amidst the enchanting forest. Solving delightful riddles will unlock clues to lead them to the next hidden gem waiting to be found.

The rally promises a captivating experience, typically spanning 1 to 2 hours, depending on how swiftly participants locate all the waypoints and crack the riddles.

This exciting activity is ideally tailored for groups and families with participants aged ten years or older. Families or groups with younger kids are still welcome to join the adventure, but they’ll need adults to guide the little ones through the journey.

Remember that this is a self-guided activity, so while the staff will happily kickstart your escapade, they won’t tag along throughout the adventure. So get ready to unleash your inner explorers and savor the delights of nature’s mysteries!

Forest Bathing

The forest bathing journey commences with expert guides leading participants into a profound connection with their senses. Delightful invitations await, encouraging mindful and contemplative immersion in the natural world’s breathtaking sights, soothing sounds, and alluring scents. After each invitation, the group convenes in a heartfelt council, where everyone can express their thoughts.

The pinnacle of this soul-reviving experience awaits with a delightful wild tea ceremony. Participants are treated to a herbal tea concocted from locally foraged wild plants, a fitting conclusion to a rejuvenating forest bathing journey.

Forest bathing embraces both individual and communal aspects. As groups of up to 10 people stroll together, they remain immersed in their personal experiences, only coming together in council afterward to share the magic of this encounter with nature. So, venture forth and let nature’s embrace restore your spirit while you bask in the essence of this beautiful forest bathing adventure.

This activity is available on selected dates at various Treetop Trekking parks. Opt for a private booking for small groups of up to 10 individuals at your preferred park on your desired dates.

Discovery Kids Courses

In this engaging 1.5-hour escapade, young adventurers aged 5-8 find themselves adorned with climbing harnesses and helmets, embarking on a journey of zipping, striding, and climbing through a collection of aerial courses thoughtfully tailored for children. This whimsical escapade is a splendid confidence booster, a playful equilibrium test, and a strength-building delight, all cleverly wrapped in layers of joy and cheer.

Ages: 5-8

*Adults must always stay within the Discovery Course with their children.

Sunset Canopy Walk

Embrace serenity and nature’s beauty from above and enjoy Heart Lake’s shores in Brampton. Say goodbye to stress amidst the calming forest twilight, and enjoy a stunning sunset.

Armed with a harness and helmet, the hour-long tour unfurls. A brief safety talk paves the way to traverse stable bridges between observation havens in the forest canopy. At heights up to 60 feet, this outing is gentler than our Zipline & Aerial Game Treks, allowing a stroll through the canopy’s splendor.

Ages: 9+

Night Trek

Night treks allow you to explore during nighttime. Don a headlamp and take part in some of the excellent courses available. Take a 3-hour Zipline & Aerial Game Trek, or if you are in Brampton, you can choose to do the 1-hour Red-Tailed Hawk Course. Night treks must be booked with at least eight people and reservations are required.

Ages: Night Zipline & Aerial Game Trek: 12+ or Night Red-Tailed Hawk: 9+

Prepared with safety gear, participants receive a briefing before commencing their journey. Scaling into the treetops, they zip above the forest floor, pausing at the chill platform to soak in stunning 1000 Islands views. Bridges and ladders further enhance this zipline experience.

The 1000 Islands Zip Tour is a solo escapade or pairs perfectly with the 3-hour Zipline and Aerial Game Treks. To combine both, book the Zipline & Aerial Game Trek and opt for the Zip Tour add-on.

Step into a world of fun with a Polaroid scavenger hunt, Call-of-the-Wild games, and vibrant tie-dyeing.

Ideal for those not meeting the age or height requirements of the Zipline & Aerial Game Trek in Huntsville, this delightful program warmly welcomes kids ages 5 to 8 and their families. Parents join the adventure, supporting their little ones under the guidance of a friendly leader.

Ages: 5-8
