Cleaning House with the Bissell Hard Floor Expert Deluxe Canister Vacuum {Review}

The Christmas tree is down, decorations put away, and toys found a new home.  I can actually see my floor again!  Not that I am very excited about that because they are a mess – small bits of wrapping paper, pine needles, and the ever persistent cat hair are now exposed to show me just how dirty my house got over the holidays.  I want to start the year off right with a nice clean house so I am breaking out the Bissell Hard Floor Expert Deluxe Canister Vacuum to help me get the job done right.  With all of the renovations we have done to our house over the years we don’t have any carpet left, just a few area rugs here and there.  The majority of our house has hard wood, tile and laminate flooring and this vacuum is designed to work perfectly on all of these floor types.

Hard Floor Expert Deluxe canister vacuum 1Specially designed to remove crumbs (I blame the kids!) and hair (well this one is between me and the cat, but more so the cat) the Bissell Hard Floor Expert Deluxe Canister Vacuum was ready to tackle the mess in every room of the house.  I love that this is a canister vacuum, no need to worry about buying bags.  While I do wish that the canister was a little larger, but it is easy to empty, and I like the slim design for storage as this vacuum does not take up too much room in the closet.  This vacuum also features a telescopic wand so you can make it longer or shorter depending on where you need to reach.

Specially designed head with brushes to help lift up dirt and crumbs on your hard floors

The lightweight design means that it is easy to maneuver this vacuum around furniture and stairs, and the swivel head makes it simple to get into those hard to reach places.  At less that 74 dBa this is the quietest vacuums I have ever heard.  I know it is a little think, but the self retracting power cord is a feature I really appreciate so I don’t have to fight with winding it back up.Bissell Hard Floor Expert Deluxe Canister Vacuum review

The Bissell Hard Floor Expert Deluxe Canister Vacuum comes with 2 heads so you can cover every area in your house including carpet.  You can adjust the level of suction and turn the vacuum on and off using the buttons on the handle.  The filters in the vacuum are easy to access and clean. Now I have no excuse for my house to be a mess, time to get vacuuming!!!

  1. This looks like a great vacuum! I have a couple friends who have Bissells and LOVE them. I’d definitely look for one next time I’m buying a vacuum. I like the fact it has a special brush for hard floors too. Thanks for the review! 🙂

  2. That is great!! I need one of these. It looks affordable and lightweight. My husband and I have had a lot of renos done here too and we have a lot of hard wood. But my issue is that I don’t want to scratch the lovely refinished floors so I keep telling him NO way are you vacuuming the floors. He then rants and raves about even hardwood needs to be vacuumed. Well this would solve both of our issues. Right now all I will use on my floor is the softest of brooms to clear hair and dust bunnies. The Bissell Hard Floor Expert looks perfect for us.
